Below are some photos taken by Ken McKeown at the Parks Committee Fall Work Bee at Riverview Park October 2009.  Project Safe Parks "Stage 2" installed shredded rubber under the playground equipment at Riverview Park at a cost of approximately $10,000.   The shredded rubber material was installed under the playground equipment at Tiny Tots Park near The First Church of God last year and represented Stage 1.
At Riverview Park Kiwanis Club members were joined by members of our Key Clubs to spread several tons of the shredded rubber purchased from Deerpath Recyclers.  Please visit either park and check it out!  Be sure to walk in the stuff.  It is very soft!  Thanks to our Parks Committee and those that volunteered.  Kiwanians Care!
